August may be the dog days of summer, but the dog days of a commercial driver training class are upon us now in the early days of September.
As we mark Day 12 of our 16-day CDL or Bust series following seven students trying to earn their CDL, the students are in a stretch of continuing to spend half of their day at the range, perfecting backing maneuvers and mastering pre-trip inspections, and the other half of the day on the road with an instructor. Most of the students are itching to get to the final couple of days of the class, which will mean practicing on the Kentucky State Fairgrounds and then taking their official CDL exam with a Kentucky state examiner.
Today we anticipate chatting with Joey Wilson Jr. and Anna Basham. Here's a look back at yesterday's coverage, when we spoke with Wayne Meenach and Ryan Strange about how things were going on their first day back from the Labor Day weekend.
